Rich Brummet, CPA

With 20 years of experience owning his own firm, Rich is a CPA who knows how to relate to his client’s concerns. His focus on planning and thinking “out of the box” helps build strong and lasting relationships. He has experience in serving small and closely held businesses & individuals, prioritizing their tax and accounting needs. 

• Graduated from the University of Illinois with a Bachelor of
  Science degree
• Has experience with 2 other National CPA firms
• Joined LOB in 2023
• Has lived in Indian Head Park for over 30 years.
• Married to an amazing wife, Kathi, and has 2 children and 5 grandchildren
• Enjoys golfing, boating and spending time with family

Eh Moo, Staff Accountant

My role at LOB as a staff accountant is to assist with tax preparation and bookkeeping.

• I got my B.S. in Accountancy at Northern Illinois University (NIU) in 2025.
• I joined LOB in December of 2025.
• I was born in Thailand but grew up in St. Charles, Aurora, and Glen Ellyn, Illinois. Currently live in Aurora, IL. My two younger brothers and I live with our parents, and culturally we tend to stay with them for a long time, and one of the children takes care of the parents when we are grown up.
• As a hobby, I love to play guitar and volunteer to play at church.

Matt Zuccato

Staff Accountant

Assist clients with tax preparation and tax planning services and other bookkeeping functions.

• BA and MA at St. Ambrose University 2022

• Joined LOB in September of 2025

• I’m from Frankfort, IL but will be moving to St. Charles, IL In January 2026

• huge sports fan, love the Seattle Seahawks! Go Hawks!

Peter T. Georgitsis

Staff Accountant

As a Staff Accountant at Loberg & Associates, Peter’s roles range from tax preparation & planning to bookkeeping assistance. Driven by client satisfaction, Peter prides himself on accuracy and efficiency within his work. Aiming to bring a calm state of mind to all clients regarding their Tax matters.

• BA in Accounting from Carthage College
• Joined LOB in 2024
• Grew up in Elgin, now currently resides in Hampshire, IL
• Enjoys Car shows & gets a little competitive during outside sports

Liz Velazquez

As an Administrative Assistant, you can find Liz answering the phone, greeting clients, but most importantly stocking the candy bowls. As a part of the Administrative Team, Liz ensures a smooth client experience from the start of the tax preparation process, all the way to the finish line. She prides herself on seamless communication and support. Tax matters can be complex and sensitive, and Liz is committed to alleviating that stress. 

• Holds an M.A. from Western Michigan University, as well as a BS in Education from Illinois State University.
• Joined LOB in 2023 
• Grew up in Downers Grove, but currently resides in Geneva with her wonderful husband and young son.
• Loves spending time with her family, trying new local restaurants, and watching Formula 1 Racing.

Brendan Bell

As a Senior Accountant at Loberg & Associates, Brendan’s roles range from tax preparation to bookkeeping assistance.

• Bacherlor’s degree in Accounting from Valparaiso University
• Joined LOB in 2019
• Grew up in Naperville, now currently reside in St. Charles, IL
• Watching sports and playing golf

Steve King

As the Controller of Loberg & Associates, Steve holds a variety of responsibilities ranging from tax preparation to overseeing all accounting functions. He strives to enhance the managing processes and systems, such as technology, to deliver exceptional services to all clients.

• Received a BA in Accounting from North Central College in Naperville, IL
• Over 45 years of financial experience in Retail, Commercial Real Estate, Residential Home Building and various other small to medium sized businesses.
• 4 years at LOB
• Lives in Sycamore with his wife Pam and dog Tanner
• Has one daughter and is a step father to 4 children
• Avid Chicago sports fan (go Sox, Bears and Blackhawks!) and also enjoys the Northwoods while boating, fishing and snowmobiling.

David Wells, CPA

Dave is a seasoned CPA with a passion for helping clients. With a keen interest in learning about clients’ distinctive situations, David approaches his work with a blend of expertise and genuine curiosity. His focus on providing tailored solutions sets him apart, making him a trusted advisor to those seeking tax and financial guidance. David’s professional portfolio is marked by a wealth of experience in working with business and personal clients across an array of industries. His analytical skills and attention to detail ensure clients receive easy to understand, comprehensive and accurate information in navigating the complexities of accounting, tax planning and compliance.

• Graduated from Illinois Wesleyan University with a BA in Accounting. Has worked in the accounting world as a CPA for over 16 years.
• Joined LOB in 2018
• Resides in Bartlet, with his lovely wife and 2 beautiful children.
• His perfect summer day is a round of golf, followed by grilling or experimenting with a new recipe in the kitchen. Dave treasures time spent with his family, whether that be at home or on vacation.

Gregory Loberg, CPA

Greg is a CPA with large-firm experience in accounting, consulting, and income taxes. More recently, he has 17+ years of experience running this firm in Geneva, Illinois. Greg’s clients love the personalized service and advice he provides. Greg does his best to put client’s worries and concerns at ease as he navigates complex situations and attempts to simplify them.

• Graduated from Indiana University Bloomington in 1991 with a double major and received his Bachelor of Science in Finance and Accounting
• Founded this firm in 2006 and have grown it ever since
• Moved to Geneva in 1999, and has loved living in this town ever since
• Married to an amazing wife, Colleen, and has 4 children – Matt, Grace, Anna and Michael (can’t forget about the 2 incredible dogs as well)
• Greg enjoys everything that Geneva has to offer – the downtown charm, the river, the many shops and boutiques and of course, the local restaurants and pubs. In his leisure- time, you can usually find him cheering on friends and family at high school, college or professional sporting events. He also enjoys traveling and spending time at the lake up in Wisconsin.

Michelle Tams

As the Office Manager and Senior Administrative Assistant at Loberg & Associates, Michelle handles a myriad of responsibilities, including client interactions and operational support. The Administrative Team plays a crucial role in ensuring a seamless client journey, from initial contact to the completion of tax preparation processes. Our commitment to excellent communication and support ensures every client and guest feels valued and at ease.

• Achieved a Data Science Certificate 
• Dedicated 13 years of service at Loberg & Associates, a tenure that reflects loyalty, a proven track record and passion for excellence
• Moved in 2023 to the beautiful town of Soddy Daisy, Tennesse with her husband and dog, Zoey. Her family extends across the country, with her son, Troy, in Florida, and daughter, Haley, in Illinois.
• Loves spending quality time with family and friends. Is a big fan of outdoor adventures, whether it’s kayaking, hiking through the mountains, biking along scenic trails, or trying out new restaurants in town.
